Doris Kearns Goodwin is a world-renowned presidential historian, public speaker, Pulitzer Prize winner, and New York Times #1 best-selling author. Goodwin's previous works include Team of Rivals, which inspired Steven Spielberg's film "Lincoln", No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, The Home Front in World War II, and most recently An Unfinished Love Story: A Personal History of the 1960’s, just to name a few.

Goodwin’s eighth book, Leadership: In Turbulent Times, a New York Times bestseller, is a culmination of Goodwin's five-decade career of studying American presidents. Her focus for this book was on Presidents Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, and Lyndon Baines Johnson and provides an accessible and essential road map for aspiring and establishing leaders in every field, and for all of us in our everyday lives.

Goodwin is a frequent commentator on television, appearing in documentaries, news programs and late-night talk shows.
